Valeco site - progress yay
3 May 2017 - slab done and without incident, well done Valeco. And things have improved with communication regarding the next stage of works. The frame was delivered on site on Friday with the carpenter due to start on Monday. It is good to have a positive at last. Now in competition with a site opposite that started a few weeks ago. Hopefully our build will be quicker from now on. 28 May 2017 - we now have a frame and a partial roof. The contractors have worked long days to get us here so quickly. Workmanship has been good. Hoping that this continues. A couple of hiccups: Electrical conduits placed in the middle of a sliding door Part of the slab removed to fit frame in entertaining area And addition to the slab in the portico Upstairs door frames not at the upgraded height All small things that can be put right easily.
